The 90s was a prime time for country music. Some of the genre's most successful artists got their start in the decade, and they are now respected veterans. The decade was also filled with some of the best albums in the genre's history, and one of them was just named the greatest country album of all time.

Billboard recently released a series of lists naming the best of all time in several categories. For example, Billboard named George Strait as the greatest country artist of all time based on his many number one hits on the charts.

In addition to ranking individual artists, Billboard also released a list of the greatest country albums of all time. The ranking was based on the past six decades' worth of chart data, and once the numbers were tallied it was revealed that 90s albums claimed both the first and second spot.

Coming in at the second spot was Garth Brooks with his second studio album No Fences. Released in 1990, No Fences contained chart toppers such as "The Thunder Rolls" and "Unanswered Prayers," and was the springboard for the monster hit "Friends in Low Places." His debut album Garth Brooks also appeared on the list in the fourth position.

So if Brooks didn't claim the #1 spot, who did? According to Billboard, "From This Moment On" a certain country leading lady is "Still the One." Have any idea who it is yet? We'll give you one more hint...think about it and "Don't Be Stupid."

That's right, Shania Twain's 1997 release Come On Over claimed the top spot on Billboard's ranking. Come On Over held the top spot on the Country Albums chart for a record-breaking 50 weeks (non-consecutive), so it's no wonder it was named as the #1 country album of all time.

In total, Come On Over has sold 40 million copies around the world and is the 6th highest-selling album of all time in the U.S, where it has been certified 2x Diamond.

Twain's 1995 album The Woman in Me was ranked at the ninth spot on Billboard's list, making her the only artist other than Brooks to have more than one album in the Top 10.

Other 90s albums that found a spot on the list include the Dixie Chicks' Fly at #13, LeAnn RimesBlue at #16, and Billy Ray Cyrus' Some Gave All at #28.

Congratulations to Twain and all of the other artists whose albums appeared on the list! Tune in to the video below to listen to one of Twain's big hits from Billboard's greatest country album of all time.
