Garth Brooks shows off his soft side in his cover of Bob Dylan's "Make You Feel My Love" at the Academy of Country Music back in 1999.

"As an artist he has an unending desire to honor and expand the importance of country music" says the host as an introduction to Garth's performance.

The "Friends In Low Places" singer shows off his diverse music stylings and wide vocal range in his cover of the bluesy love song. In the uncharacteristically slow performance, Garth takes the stage solo sitting idly in a chair throughout the duration of the song with nothing but his guitar as backup. At the end of the song Garth smiles ear-to-ear and the crowd erupts into a lengthy standing ovation.

"Make You Feel My Love" is classified as "blues rock" and was initially released by Bob Dylan in 1997. Garth covered it a year after its initial debut for the soundtrack of the film Hope Floats.
